“We spent 3 nights here earlier this week. We wanted a small Tuscan town close to Siena and close to other small (everything is huge compared to this town) towns. The Hotel Monteriggioni was perfect for us. (Thank you Chat GPT) . The room was clean, and updated. The free buffet breakfast was great. The blood orange juice was THE BEST (we don’t have blood oranges in NY). There are a few restaurants in town for dinner which were also very good. I highly recommend Hotel Monteriggioni if you want an authentic Tuscan experience. (Pics are not of the hotel but of the town. I didn’t take any pics inside )”
“It was such a treat to stay in this beautiful hotel inside Monteriggionni. The staff was welcoming and provided the friendliest and most thorough service. The rooms were charming, peaceful and clean and the staff attended to all of our needs. We would recommend and stay again. The town is so quaint and offered wonderful opportunities to explore and experience this beautiful village life.”
“A wonderful place in the heart of Montereggioni — a perfect location. The staff were very welcoming, the rooms beautiful and well-appointed, and breakfast was generous and delicious. I will definitely be coming back”
“A very nice little hotel with a unique location! Nice service, large and safe parking, rooms with a view and breakfast in the garden. Especially nice, the atmosphere in the village in the evenings. We already recommended it to our friends and we might be back when in Toskany.”
“Absolutely stunning Hotel. So quaint and cosy, the hotel feels personalised. All the staff are so lovely and friendly and helpful. We were there for our honeymoon, honestly could not have chosen a better place. Lovely restaurants right next door. Felt like living inside a real little castle.”
“Nothing can fault the stay at Hotel Monteriggioni, we were greeted with a friendly face on arrival (who really didn't take offence to our poor Italian!) and the rooms were spacious, airy and immaculate with stunning views of the ancient structures surrounding the hotel. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and served on the patio area with attentive staff offering coffee options but not before wishing us a good morning with the biggest smiles. The location is picturesque and oozing with culture, however take note that taxis are hard to come by and can be hefty in price. We visited Tuscany for a wedding nearby and were stumped when it came to transport, however the staff at the hotel were more than happy to help and made life that little bit less stressful. This hotel really feels like a home away from home and I cannot recommend it enough.”
“All positive things you can read here in this trail are correct, pictures reflect the reality. So, my summary: were happy to get there, nice retreat, the place is flooded with tourists but the hotel offers enough space and silence to calm down. The hosts are lovely, hope the hotel will stay how and where it is, heard some rumours about a potential sale...so, get there as long as you can.”
